We sat down to chat with Ellie Dockstader, Manager at Silver Therapeutics in Orange, MA, to learn a little bit more about her and to hear her thoughts on cannabis!

Meet Ellie – Age 36
Ellie is originally from Watervliet, NY. Watervliet is directly west of Troy, NY and slightly North of Albany.
So Ellie, what do you do at Silver Therapeutics?
I’m the Manager at the Orange store!
What are your other hobbies or job outside of Silver?
I love doing arts and crafts, like macramé and resin art. I also love walking around town with my husband to see if we can meet any cats in the neighborhood.
Why cannabis? How did cannabis become introduced in your life?
Why not! I was introduced to cannabis through a friend when I was a young teen. I tried it, didn’t think I was doing it right, didn’t get high. Does anyone really get high the first time around?? Smoked the occasional joint here and there when I could get my hands on it. A few years later, after dealing with a breakup and a death in the family, I turned back to it for comfort. I quickly realized how much it helped with my stomach issues and made me feel like a brand new person. Smoke weed everyday.
What are some of your favorite products from Silver Therapeutics? Are there any particular cannabis products or marijuana strains that you have a preference for?
Any and all flavors of Mindy’s gummies and the Treeworks Daily Sativa and Purist Hybrid Tinctures. I’m a huge fan of most sativa strains, my favorites would have to be 3D, Dr. Lime, Lemon Meringue and Lemon OG Haze, really anything citrus is delicious.
What activities do you like to do during or after consuming cannabis?
My favorite activities to do after smoking would be cooking dinner or going grocery shopping. I know weirdo activities, haha. Doing my arts and crafts is always fun after eating some edibles. And we can’t forget, hanging out with cats.
