The inaugural Williamstown Jazz Festival brings three days of live jazz to Williamstown, MA, hosted by NEA Jazz Master Todd Barkan and produced by nonprofit Jazz in the Berkshires. Headliners include Arturo Sandoval, Ms. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton, Steve Turre’s All-Star Band, The Cookers, and Brandee Younger, spread across venues like the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance, Chapin Hall, and the Clark Art Institute. The weekend also features a jazz film series, a book talk on the region’s jazz history, and performances from regional youth ensembles.
