4/20 in MA is almost here, friends! At Silver Therapeutics, we will celebrate April 20th throughout the month. During the weekend of April 20th, festivities will peak as we plan special 420 deals, activities, giveaways, and more. With three locations in Massachusetts, we invite you to visit our Roslindale, Williamstown, and Palmer dispensaries to help us celebrate.
What is 4/20?
The 420 term initially gained popularity in the 1970s by a group of California teens known as the “Waldos.” These Waldos would use 420 as a secret code to meet after school. Initially, they would search the area for a rumored abandoned cannabis crop. Later, they would continue using the code to set up a time to smoke pot. The story was shared with “High Times” in the 1990s; around that time, 420 celebrations started being held nationwide. The weed holiday became part of pop culture with major events in New York, San Francisco, Ann Arbor, Chicago, and more.
Along with 4/20 events to celebrate cannabis, there have been advocacy efforts surrounding the holiday. Many groups have used the date as a call to action. There have been protests that have taken place on April 20th, along with acts of civil disobedience that involved demonstrators smoking pot in public. The efforts of advocates on April 20th have helped with the legalization of cannabis around the country. However, there’s still work that needs to be done to further legalize and decriminalize weed possession.

If you’re uncertain what to buy, our budtenders will be on hand throughout the 420 events to provide recommendations. They can let you know about their favorite THC and CBD products and hook you up with a product that will help you achieve your desired effects.
Weekend 4/20 Events at Silver Therapeutics
We have a weekend full of fun at our Massachusetts dispensaries. Stop out to enjoy some of the following activities we have planned for our customers, including:
- Food Trucks: Local MA food trucks will be at our three sites throughout the weekend of 420. Grab a bite to eat after you pick up your favorite cannabis goodies. We will have a selection of savory and sweet bites to appeal to all appetites.

4/20 at Silver Therapeutics
Silver Therapeutics is very excited to plan 4/20 events for the MA communities. Our three locations serve recreational and medical clients throughout the state. We provide convenient pickup options to help you get your cannabis quicker than ever.
Our Roslindale, MA, dispensary is located at 721 American Legion Highway. Found near Boston, City Farms by Silver Therapeutics is the place to shop for all your cannabis needs. The dispensary is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm.
Williamstown is the closest MA dispensary to Williams College and the New York State border. Operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday to Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm, and Sundays from 9 am to 7 pm. The dispensary’s address is 238 Main Street in Williamstown.
The Palmer cannabis dispensary is very convenient for travelers taking the MASS Turnpike. Located off of exit 63, the dispensary is at 1235 Thorndike Street. Visit between 10 am and 8 pm on Mondays through Saturdays and from 10 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
